Limited Pro-Rated Warranty: Two years for float service applications, one year for non-float applications. Tempest warrants its batteries to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use as follows:

(1) Up to one year from date of purchase, Tempest will issue a credit toward the replacement of the battery / batteries. The credit will be equal to the price paid for the battery / batteries multiplied by a fraction whose denominator is 12 and whose numerator is 12 minus the number of months since the date of purchase. (For example, the credit for a battery purchased 7 months ago will be 5/12's of the price of the original battery.) |

(2) This warranty is not valid if the battery has been / batteries have been modified improperly charged, improperly installed, neglected, overcharged, undercharged or misused in any way. Battery cell capacity degradation due to excessive use is not covered by warranty. |

(3) All requests for warranty returns must be made using the Tempest RMA request form. Shipment of product to Tempest for evaluation is not covered by this warranty. |
